Ready to shake your soul!
Under the influences of Gorillaz, Alt-J, Grizzly Bear or any other indie pop-rock band from the last decades, Match seems to have some new and fresh stories to share.
Mixing PaGaille.
Lead Voice EQ & Comp Presets Pics.
Adding a little bit of air and cutting low end frequencies.
Also compressing a little, just a little bit.
Looking for the video-clip of the song I’ve been listening this week. If I got it in vinyl it would be crackling because it would be spinning all day.
I really enjoy that pumped dark sound.
Love the way of those new crooners sing and compose; I’m a big fan of Jai Paul.

What kind of drums do you play!?
Recording vocals with RosalĂa.
While composing and performing with the new piano, the only thing we will need is the sweetest voice.
Thanks Rosalia again for your energy,

Banda Sonora Original rocking live.
Thanks to Gon and his trip to New York.
Because it’s interesting to have things clear from the beginning,
Because sometimes I don’t like to have many cables around,
or because less could be more,
We’ve tried a simple setup to record the main beat for the last tune.
We’ve just used two AKG 414 to have some stereo overhead feel, but the important one is the main beat mic. Just placed were the kick and the snare are well balanced, and you don’t have much of all the other things that will appear in the overhead mics. We’ve used a Neumann U-87 in cardioid mode to reject nearly everything but not the snare or the kick drum.
Maybe next time I’ll try with an omni on the main beat mic, but I feel I would loose some snare presence.
Optically Compressing vocals, using Universal Audio LA-610 line input.
Finishing PaGallie mixes, before mastering.
